Plant Science Saturday | Plant Biology 2025

Milwaukee area families will have an opportunity to get scientific with their love of plants when Plant Science Saturday takes place Saturday, July 26 from 8:00 AM-12 PM at the South Shore Farmers’ Market. Designed for budding plant scientists of all ages, plant scientists will host discovery stations to inspire excitement and curiosity about plants and plant life.

Plant Science Saturday originated out of the desire for Plant Biology conference attendees to give back to their host cities. Information about volunteer opportunities will be shared in April/May 2025.

Situated along Lake Michigan in Milwaukee’s South Shore Park, the South Shore Farmers’ Market offers the best of local agricultural, prepared and ready-made foods. Enjoy a lake breeze carrying sounds of laughter and live entertainment while you shop!
