Detailing The Difference Between Delta 8 And Delta 9
Both Delta 8 and Delta 9 can be derived from the hemp plant, both are intoxicating, but are also very different from each other. Typically we find Delta 8 to be more relaxed and sedative while hemp-derived Delta 9 is going to be more uplifting, energetic, and psychoactive (psychoactive; stimulating in the brain; “high” effect).
You won’t find that with Delta-8. Will it get you high? Yes, but it’s a different high. THC in Delta-8 produces a smoother, more mellow experience. Our community should know that in Wisconsin, both Delta 8 and Delta 9, when derived from hemp, are legal cannabinoids that can be consumed in many ways. Currently, hemp-derived Delta 9 can only be sold when the percentage is in correspondence with the weight of the item. Thus edibles and tinctures/oils are the only way we can currently sell Delta 9 – smokable flowers and vaping is not an option as the percentages per weight of vape cartridges and flowers would not be legal.
Currently, TerraSol is able to sell Delta 8 in all forms; smokable flowers, tinctures/oils, edibles, vapes, concentrates, and topicals. Hemp-derived Delta 8 and Delta 9 have numerous benefits and effects for those who consume them such as being anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, mood-boosting, relaxing, sleep-assisting, anxiety-relieving as well as capable of delivering an intoxication (“high” feeling) when consumed in higher doses. Currently, you can buy hemp-derived Delta 8 + 9 items in any quantity without any type of license/card as long as you are 21 or older.
In Wisconsin, Delta 9 THC must be hemp-derived and within legal percentages per weight of the item in order to be sold and purchased. There are currently no restrictions as far as the quantity you can purchase at a time per person, as well as no necessitating a medical or recreational identification card. You do, however, need to be 21 or older in order to legally purchase hemp-derived Delta 8 + 9 THC products.
